External power supply for audio modules
This external power supply eliminates the electromagnetic radiation to which certain modules in vintage analogue consoles are sensitive.
It isolates the transformer from the rest of the power supply, which is integrated into the rack-mount enclosure. This design helps to reduce interference and preserve the audio performance of the equipment.
As a general guideline, a 50 VA version is suitable for powering 1 to 4 modules.
The 80 VA version is recommended for systems with up to 8 modules.
Finally, a 110 V / 220 V selector switch ensures compatibility with international mains supplies.
Designed as the ideal companion to a Labo K Effects power supply kit, this external power supply delivers a refined, reliable solution for professional rack-mounted systems.
External Power Supply
Designed for the most demanding audio applications, this external power supply eliminates electromagnetic interference that could affect the performance of vintage analogue console modules.
By relocating the transformer outside the main chassis, it maintains a particularly low-noise electrical environment. The power supply circuit, integrated into the rack-mount enclosure, thus benefits from a clean power supply whilst minimising the risk of magnetic interference.
Available in several versions, this power supply is offered with various voltage and current configurations to meet the requirements of most professional modules and systems.
The connection to the enclosure is made via a 4-pin connector, which carries the AC voltage and provides chassis earthing.
A 110 V / 220 V mains voltage selector ensures compatibility with electrical installations worldwide.
