Description

This test bench is designed for powering, testing and validating preamplifier and equalizer modules from Neve 51 Series and Neve V consoles directly on the workbench.

Operation

The module is connected to the test bench using the supplied ribbon cables and powered according to its original specifications (Labo K Effects power supply available as an option).

Once connected, the module can undergo a complete range of functional tests, including microphone preamplifier performance, equalizer operation, audio level measurements and electrical verification, depending on the module under test.

Multiple signal injection and measurement points are available throughout the audio path, allowing the technician to monitor signal flow, quickly isolate faults and verify the performance of each circuit stage.

The test bench provides a fast and reliable method of validating a module following recap work, repair, modification or routine maintenance before it is returned to service.
